AI That Works With Your Stack, Not Around It

We've spent the last several months building with Claude Code — an AI engineering tool that lets our senior team ship custom software in days, not quarters. Here's what that looked like across three projects, and why the real story isn't the AI. It's that everything we built plugs into the systems and people you already have.

Most "AI transformation" pitches ask you to throw out what works and start over. New platform, new logins, new training, new headaches. We think that's backwards.

Over the past few months we've rebuilt how we deliver software using Claude Code — an AI engineering environment that works alongside our senior team, not in place of it. The honest result: work that used to take a quarter now takes days, and the same people you already talk to are the ones building it.

But speed isn't the headline. The headline is fit. Everything we ship plugs into the tools you already pay for and gets run by the people already on your team. Here's what that looked like across three recent projects.

The AI is real — and it's not the point

It's worth being plain about what changed. Claude Code lets a small, senior team move at a scale that used to take a much larger one. We can now take on problems that were previously "too small to justify custom software" — the one report that eats half a day every week, the data that lives in two systems and never quite agrees — and solve them properly, in days rather than quarters.

What it doesn't change is who does the work. There's no junior team, no offshore handoff, no black box. The AI accelerates people who already understand your business; it doesn't replace that understanding. And it changes nothing on your side of the table — your systems, your logins, your team's day-to-day all stay exactly as they are.

A single view, from the systems you already own

Every organization we work with has the same quiet problem: the numbers that matter are scattered across separate tools. Website analytics in one place, the CRM in another, project data somewhere else again. Getting a clear picture meant logging into five systems and copying figures into a spreadsheet — a task nobody enjoys and everybody postpones.

So we built a live dashboard that reads directly from each client's own accounts and shows what matters on a single screen that refreshes itself. The part we're proudest of is what we didn't do:

  • We didn't migrate anyone's data.
  • We didn't introduce a new system of record.
  • We didn't ask a single person to change how they work.

We connected to what was already there and gave them a window into it.

"We didn't move anyone's data. We built a window into it — and left every system exactly where it was."

The handoff between tools you already run

For one national contracting firm, building a bid meant entering the same job details twice — once in Salesforce, again in the board their team uses to manage work. It was slow, and every copy-paste was a fresh chance to introduce an error into a document that decides whether they win the job.

We built a bid builder that pulls the details straight from Salesforce and drops the finished document into the workflow their team already lives in. The data gets entered once and flows to where it's needed.

Both tools were already theirs. We didn't replace either one — we built the bridge between them that was missing. An afternoon of careful retyping became a couple of clicks, inside the systems the team already opens every morning.

The quiet work nobody should have to do

Then there's the work nobody sees. Every team carries a layer of small, repetitive tasks that quietly eat the week — sending the weekly report, syncing the records, flagging the error, posting the update.

Across our client base we now run dozens of automated workflows that handle exactly this. Each one connects tools clients already use — their email, their CRM, their site, their notifications — so the routine work happens on its own, in the background.

There's nothing new for anyone to learn. The automations run through the existing tools; the team keeps working the way they always have, with less of the busywork. The best automation is the kind nobody has to think about.

What this means for your team

Three different problems, one approach. We didn't ask anyone to adopt a new platform, retrain their staff, or hand their data to a tool they don't control. We met each client inside the systems they already run and built the connective tissue that was missing.

For most organizations, this isn't really a technology decision — it's an operational one. The question isn't "which new platform should we buy." It's "where are our own tools failing to talk to each other, and what would it be worth to fix that?" Usually the answer is hiding in plain sight: the manual report, the double-entry, the five-tab login just to answer one question.

A different way to think about custom software

For a long time, custom software meant big budgets, long timelines, and a platform you'd have to live inside. That math is what kept most good ideas on the shelf.

Claude Code changes the math, not the principles. It makes building fast and affordable enough to be worth doing — even for the small, specific problems that never justified a project before. But the AI is the engine, not the product. The product is software that fits: your stack, your team, your way of working.

If there's a place in your business where people are copying numbers between tools, waiting on a manual report, or opening five systems to answer one question — that's exactly the kind of fit we look for. Let's talk about what's possible with what you already have.

You have a story to tell, an experience to create, an audience to reach. We have the tools, the talent, and the expertise to help. Let’s work together.
